Job Role: Weekend Fabrication Supervisor
Location: East Goscote, Leicester
Shift Pattern: Friday: 2:00pm – 12:00am, Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 11:00pm
Pay: Starting from £38,000 per annum (will pay more dependant on experience)
We’re launching a completely new weekend shift and looking for an experienced supervisor to lead it.
This isn’t just stepping into another workshop role. It’s an opportunity to help build and shape a new team within a busy, high quality sheet metal manufacturing environment where your experience, leadership, and fabrication knowledge will genuinely make an impact.
The Role:
You’ll be hands on as well as overseeing a skilled team of welders, press brake operators, and laser operators, keeping production running smoothly while maintaining high standards across quality, safety, and output.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and supporting the weekend fabrication team
- Helping establish and develop a brand new shift operation
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved
- Providing technical support across fabrication processes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Keeping the workshop safe, organised, and running efficiently
- Supporting continuous improvement and workflow across the shop floor
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive sheet metal fabrication experience – essential
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Great knowledge of welding, press brake and laser cutting processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Hands on leadership style with strong communication skills
- Someone motivated by the opportunity to help build and shape a new team
