Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team for roles in Glasgow, Paisley & East Kilbride. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other facilities as required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels where necessary
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual with good organisational skills
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties effectively
