Job Summary
We are seeking diligent and reliable Cleaning Staff to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial environments
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and customer service
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods, lifting light loads, and bending or kneeling as required
