Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for working across our cleaning sites in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming for clients and visitors, Make Site Deliveries, Manager the on site cleaning staff as well as support as and when required. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Must have a full driving license - the opportunity to use a company van (would have to collect from Stevenage each day).
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Cleaning supplies deliveries
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments, ensuring timely arrival at each site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Valid driving licence is required for travel between locations.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding of tasks and responsibilities.
