Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail‑focused QHSE Officer to support and strengthen our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the site. This role is key to ensuring compliance, maintaining audit readiness, and promoting a safe, high‑quality products and working environment.
You will work closely with production, warehouse, engineering, and management teams to uphold company policies, drive improvements, and support day‑to‑day QHSE activities.
Duties
- Support the maintenance of QHSE systems, including HACCP standards and BRCGS requirements
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with UK HSE regulations
- Maintain documentation, training records, and QHSE logs
- Support environmental monitoring, waste management, and sustainability initiatives
- Deliver toolbox talks and staff training where required
- Liaise with external auditors, contractors, and regulatory bodies
We’re Looking For
- Experience in a QHSE, Quality, Health & Safety role ( food industry preferred)
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, and H&S legislation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and support multiple departments
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
40 Hours a week
Monday - Friday or Sunday-Thursday
