We are currently recruiting for a Technical Supervisor to join our Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Stoke!
The Technical Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the Workshop team and carrying out quality control checks on completed work, as well as training and development of the team to achieve the highest standards of work.

Plus £100 per month Supervisor enhancement pay

Plus enhancement pay of up to £300 per month based upon your qualification level

Based onsite in Stoke

40 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 12:00 – 20:30

About The Job:
-
Supervision of the Workshop team and carrying out quality control checks on all completed work
-
Developing and training the Workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance
-
Monitoring workshop loading and ensuring continuity in workshop flow and efficient allocation of work

Ensuring that Collection and Delivery Drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations

Updating the relevant systems with QC and Vehicle Health Check activity
-
Ensuring that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines
-
Ensuring job cards are fully and correctly completed by Technicians and that they are processed for invoicing promptly

Ensuring that job extensions are properly authorised and processed
-
Keeping customers informed of any changes to costs or expected completion times/dates
-
Ensuring that vehicles are properly handed over to customers, including invoice explanation and advising of future requirements

Ensuring that the authorisation of warranty and goodwill is given strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s programme

Supervising MOT testing and ensure that Truck MOT first time pass rate is above 96%

Ensuring all relevant warranty parts are cleaned, drained and returned to the Parts team
About You:
-
Previous experience in a similar role or Senior Technician role

NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification in Heavy Goods Vehicles (essential)

Full UK driving licence (essential) with valid Class 1 licence (desirable)

Detailed knowledge of the function of all vehicle controls and systems for each model

Experience with Kerridge and eWIP

Experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles and systems
