We’re a small, family-run business with locations across Edinburgh and East Lothian, and we’re looking for a Supervisor/Team Leader to join our busy North Berwick gelato store.
Important: This role is based in North Berwick (not Edinburgh). Applicants must be able to reliably commute to North Berwick for all scheduled shifts.
About the Role
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Part-time: Minimum 30 hours per week
- Permanent position
- 4 week training period (paid at a lower training rate to ensure the role is the right fit for both you and us)
- Hourly rate: Based on experience
- Weekend availability is essential for both full-time and part-time roles
This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment—especially during the summer months—so you’ll need to be confident, organised, and able to think on your feet while juggling multiple tasks.
Requirements (Essential):
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader role
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role
- Ability to reliably commute to North Berwick
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment

Your Responsibilities
Your role will include (but isn’t limited to):
- Leading the team and running the store day-to-day
- Delivering excellent customer service with a smile
- Keeping the store clean, organised, and welcoming
- Managing stock takes
- Delegating tasks and supporting the team
- Basic daily paperwork
