AK Distillery Ltd is the first distillery in the UK specialising in traditional Polish moonshine. We produce a range of premium spirits in various flavours and sizes and attend markets, festivals, food and drink events, Christmas markets, and retail locations throughout the year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and outgoing Market Stall Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a permanent year-round role with opportunities for additional hours and career progression as the business continues to expand.
About the Role
Every shift will begin at our distillery in Stalybridge, where you will receive a briefing and collect stock, promotional materials, and equipment for the day.
You will then use your own vehicle to travel to the market or event location, set up the stall, represent the AK Distillery brand, and provide excellent customer service throughout the day.
At the end of the event, you will return any remaining stock and equipment to the distillery and complete the handover process.
Mileage from the distillery to the event location and back to the distillery will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect stock and equipment from the distillery before each event
- Travel to market and event locations across the North West using your own vehicle
- Set up and present the stall professionally
- Promote and sell AK Distillery products
- Offer product samples to customers (where permitted)
- Provide excellent customer service
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Handle cash responsibly and reconcile takings
- Complete stock counts and report stock levels
- Return stock and equipment to the distillery after each event
- Represent the company professionally at all times

Essential Requirements
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be comfortable driving to locations throughout the North West
- Must be comfortable working with and promoting alcoholic products
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK
