Responsibilities on shift:
We are seeking an Agency Support Worker to assist on an ad-hoc basis at several local children’s homes. The position is a zero-hour contract so there is no guarantee of a certain number of shifts weekly. Within the role, you will be faced with a number of tasks not limited to:
· Providing emotional support for the children
· Teaching day to day life skills
· Following detailed care plans whilst adhering to safeguarding procedures
· Ensuring all logbooks are updated in a legible and timely manner.
· Assistance with day-to-day household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
· Assisting with child development through educational and entertaining activities.

Skills required:
To be successful within the role, we require you meet a few certain specifications:
· At least 3 months experience within the UK in a Child/Adult care environment.
· An enhanced DBS certificate (Beneficial if available on the online update system). If required, we can provide a new DBS certificate.
· A driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferable but not essential.
