Quest Joinery is a multi-award-winning bespoke joinery fit-out and manufacturing specialist based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Delivering results to both commercial and private clients. Designing, manufacturing and installing intricate, detailed and prestigious joinery items.
The Role
We are looking for exceptional highly skilled site carpenters to work on a prestigious project in Oxfordshire installing our high-end bespoke joinery products. Working on Price and on Day Rate with highly competitive rates of pay.
As a 2nd Fix Carpenter for Quest Joinery, you will be integral to the construction process, focusing on the final stages of carpentry work. Reporting to the site supervisor, your role involves utilising core skills such as hand tools, joinery, and power tools to ensure high-quality finishes on this remarkable project. A valid Skilled Worker CSCS card is essential for this position, ensuring compliance with safety standards on-site. Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry and joinery tasks efficiently.
- Ensure precision and quality in all work.
- Ability to understand working drawings and install items in accordance with these.
- Collaborate with other trades to complete install of items.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Ensure compliance with CSCS standards throughout the construction process.
Role is Monday-Friday 0700-1630 with weekend and extra hours available when required for approximately a 40 week period.
Candidate must have:
- 2nd fix nail gun
- Hand Tools
- Skill saw and track
- Laser level
- CSCS
- CIS Registered
Qualifications
· NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery - preferred
