Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to care, ensuring that all individuals receive the attention and assistance they require. The hourly rate is currently £14 expected to increase from October 2026.
Duties
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to residents.
- Support the cook to distribute lunch and evening meals
- Support residents with personal care tasks
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or a nursing home setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving are essential.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
- SVQ2 or higher in Health and Social Care is desirable
