Our brand-new, luxury care home is located in the beautiful town of Matlock in Derbyshire. We provide personalised Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative & Nursing care for 78-residents.
Due to the continued success and growth of Darcy House, we are excited to expand our Housekeeping Team. You will be joining an already established, friendly team who are dedicated to ensuring the home always looks its very best.
Domestic Assistant Contract

Role Overview
As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
The successful candidate will work 22 hours per week over 4 days, and this will include alternate weekends.
