Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and threat detection platforms.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and potential breaches.
- Conduct threat analysis, risk assessments, and security investigations.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to strengthen security controls.
- Perform security monitoring across networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and applications.
- Assist with penetration testing activities and security audits.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the organisation's cyber security posture.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, SOC Operations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and cyber defence principles.
- Knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS technologies, endpoint security, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and security monitoring tools.
- Experience investigating security incidents and analysing security logs.
- Understanding of cloud security principles across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
