1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Needed – Year 4 Pupil | Hanwell, Ealing

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
We are excited to be working with an incredibly welcoming, happy and supportive primary school in Hanwell that is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with SEMH needs, strong behaviour management requirements, and emotional regulation challenges.
The successful candidate will be patient, proactive, and able to remain calm under pressure, building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil while supporting their learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with SEMH needs
- Be confident implementing behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
- Be comfortable working in a dedicated 1:1 role
- Demonstrate initiative, resilience, and emotional intelligence
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Be committed to helping children achieve their full potential
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with PANDAS, anxiety, autism, or complex emotional needs
- Previous primary school experience
