Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable cleaner/housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, including holiday lets and domestic properties, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned to a high standard. Tasks carried out are in properties covering West Cornwall. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Progression within the company is possible through promotion, depending on performance within the job role.
Work will also be available in our unit in Long Rock, which facilitates our laundry/linen hire services. This consists of ensuring all linen/laundry is cleaned thoroughly, using appropriate chemicals, in a timely manner. Strong organisational skills will be necessary for picking and packing linen hire orders correctly, ensuring they are ready for collection on the designated days.
Hours will vary depending on the time of year.

Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including holiday lets, domestic properties, offices, and communal spaces.
- Carry out deep cleaning of properties when required.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues, equipment damage or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.
- Ability to drive and access to own vehicle is essential for travelling between different locations.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively.
