About us
Kingfisher is one of the UK and Europe’s largest home improvement groups, with brands including B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama and Brico Dépôt, serving millions of customers across multiple markets.
The role
We are seeking a Data Enablement & Culture Lead (internally known as Data Capability & Community Lead) to join our Group Data team (incorporating Analytics, Data science, AI, Data Build, BI), playing a key role in driving how data creates value across our multi-brand, international business.
Reporting to the Head of Data Operations & Enablement, this new role sits at the heart of our Group Data function and is responsible for shaping a connected, capable and consistent data practice across Kingfisher. You will build and nurture a vibrant Data community through communities of practice, champion networks and shared learning, while also designing skills frameworks, career pathways and development programmes to attract, grow and retain data talent. In parallel, you will lead the standardisation, adoption and optimisation of our data and BI tooling estate to drive efficiency, reuse and value.
Acting as a central connector across data, analytics, data science, platforms and governance, you will ensure that people, skills, tools and ways of working evolve together, strengthening our data culture, deepening organisational maturity, and supporting the long-term success of Kingfisher’s Data strategy.
Please note that this role will be based out of our Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington with an expectation of 12 days a month in the office.
