About Torr Home: Torr Home is a distinguished provider of high-quality residential and respite care situated in its own picturesque private grounds. With a commitment to excellence, Torr Home caters to over 40 residents, offering specialised care, including two dementia units and sheltered accommodation on-site. Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Health Care Assistants for twilight shifts (19:00 - 22:00) to join our team of friendly, caring staff at Torr Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care we are known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalized care for residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
- Assisting with meal times and providing support with fluids throughout the shift.
- Adhering to established policies and procedures within the home.
- Collaborating effectively within a team, especially in a dynamic and busy environment.
- Attending training sessions and participating in refreshers as required.
- Communicating with fellow professionals, staff, and visitors to the home.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Care Assistant.
- Ability to be flexible and available for short-notice shifts.
- Successful completion of a DBS check (paid for by Torr Home).
- Provision of 2 satisfactory references.
