Training & Health & Safety Manager – Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a company-wide training strategy to enhance workforce capability
- Deliver technical and compliance training to employees and external clients in line with industry standards such as BESA TR-19
- Ensure all staff maintain required certifications and operate in line with current regulations
- Take overall responsibility for health & safety performance across nationwide operations
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and best practice guidelines
- Carry out audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple sites
- Create and maintain safe systems of work across operational activities
- Support operational teams to ensure high standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery
- Work closely with management to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Monitor training effectiveness and identify areas for development
- Provide operational support across sites when required, ensuring smooth service delivery
Training & Health & Safety Manager – Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience within the facilities management sector
- Strong background in training delivery, coaching, and employee development
- Train the Trainer qualification (essential)
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety
- Solid understanding of compliance standards, including BESA TR-19
- Experience managing health & safety systems and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and high performance
