We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team. With flexible working (2–5 days), a salary of up to £29,300 and a welcoming environment, this is a great opportunity for someone passionate about early years to thrive.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Observe, assess and record children’s development and progress
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing through positive interactions
- Provide personal care, including feeding, nappy changing and hygiene routines
- Build strong relationships with parents and share regular updates
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to learning journeys
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organised and welcoming
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures
- Support children with individual needs, including those with SEND
What We’re Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
- Good understanding of the EYFS (or willingness to develop)
- A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Working Hours
- Flexible shift patterns between 07:30 and 18:00, Monday to Friday
- Contracts available across 2, 3, 4 or 5 days
- Individual working patterns can be discussed
