Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Factory Supervisor specialising in the Paint Line to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production processes, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and managing a team of workers to achieve operational efficiency. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities on the paint line to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
- Monitor the utilisation of equipment, including power tools, welding apparatus, and hand tools, ensuring proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Oversee fabrication, assembly, and painting processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas, identifying and resolving any mechanical issues promptly.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Organise work schedules, assign tasks, and support team members in meeting production targets.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels and organise material supply efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or a similar leadership role within a factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with construction painting processes and assembly operations.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.
- Previous warehouse experience or background in logistics management is desirable.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
