Summary
The governors of Lea Endowed CE Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Teaching Assistant to support children across school, including those with SEND, as part of our hardworking, dedicated team.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
- has experience of working with children with SEND
- is willing to support our strong Christian ethos
- is an outstanding classroom practitioner
- prioritises childrens learning and welfare, forging strong relationships with parents and our wider school family
- is an inspirational and motivational practitioner who believes in our vision and is totally committed to raising standards, while making learning fun and creative for all
- is a committed team player, demonstrating flexibility and co-operation
- is a reflective practitioner who is open to new ideas
- has a cheerful disposition and a good sense of humour

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification (or equivalent)
Desirable Experience
- Experience of supporting children with special educational needs
- Experience of working with or caring for children of primary school age
- Experience of working in an Early Years environment
