Job description
We are looking for someone to join our small team who is happy to work away for 2 or 3 nights per week.
There is an overnight payment and food allowance.
This will involve maintaining small commercial grounds (some in a domestic setting) although there may be some occasional landscaping duties including Paving, Turfing, Fencing, Planting, etc….
The successful applicant must be reliable and be able think on their feet, they must be happy to work independently and be committed to the task at hand.
Good plant knowledge, experience in commercial and/or private maintenance and the machinery involved is essential.
The successful candidate would be expected to competently run their own maintenance round as a team of 2 and handle all the variables and inevitable unforeseen circumstances that arise.
This is a no smoking/vaping position.
Applicants must live in or around York, ideally no more than 40 minutes from YO62.
A current, clean, valid Driving Licence is essential and an - NPTC in pesticides PA1 & PA6.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
