Hours
The role of Retail Security Officer:
- Provide a visible uniformed deterrent, contributing to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- Carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- Carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager
- Ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and local developments are identified
- Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
- Assist with staff and contractor searches if required by the client
- Maintain the Security base in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the Company, wearing full uniform with SIA licence clearly displayed
The ideal Retail Security Officer:
- SG or DS SIA licence required
- Aged 18 or over
- Confident communicator and team player
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with digital and paperless admin systems
- Drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times
