Flourish Education are recruiting for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to work at a Primary School in the Handsworth area starting in September. This is a full-time role teaching a Year 5/Year 6 class and is expected to continue for the full academic year.
The class has approximately 30 pupils, and the school is committed to supporting the successful candidate through their ECT induction with ongoing guidance and support from the leadership team.
This role would suit a motivated and enthusiastic ECT looking to gain experience in Upper Key Stage 2 within a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities as an ECT Teacher:
· Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking
· Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
· Assessing and tracking pupil progress
· Managing classroom behaviour effectively
· Working closely with the Key Stage 2 team and senior leaders
· Completing your ECT induction throughout the academic year
Required Skills and Experience:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· ECTs are encouraged to apply
· Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
· Commitment to professional development
