Bolton College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and flexible Lecturer to join our successful Business, Finance and Professional Services team. You will be responsible for managing the learning process to ensure high quality provision leading to individual student success.
Ideally, you will:
- Hold a relevant Business degree or equivalent vocational qualification
- Hold GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent
- Possess a PGCE / Cert. Ed. Level 5 teaching qualification
- Hold additional certifications or diplomas in relevant areas such as Business Management, Legal Studies, or Administration would be advantageous.
- Have experience of working in a business, accounting or legal environment, demonstrating practical application of knowledge and skills in business administration and law.
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise
- Holds an assessors qualification or is willing to work towards
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with a range of young people and adults on both theoretical and practical aspects
- Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including students and employers
- Demonstrate values and behaviours suitable to work with students and within the team
- To implement creative and inspirational teaching and learning strategies
- Work under pressures with changing priorities with good organisational and administrative skills
