We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable lecturer to join our Business team, delivering high‑quality teaching and learning to 16–18‑year‑old learners. The role involves delivering the Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, ensuring lessons are engaging, well‑structured and aligned to current industry and vocational expectations.
You will take on Course Leader responsibility for the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, learner progress and the overall quality of the programme. Experience of course leadership and teaching within a Further Education college environment is essential, as is the ability to support learners to achieve their full potential.
Lead Internal Verification experience is desirable, and applicants should be confident in maintaining high standards of assessment practice and contributing to internal quality assurance processes. We welcome applications from individuals who are committed, organised and passionate about supporting young people to develop strong vocational and academic skills within the Business sector.
This is a 0.8 post (28 hours per week) initially, though there is flexibility to discuss hours depending on individual circumstances and experience.
If you would like an informal discussion about the role or require further details, we would be happy to arrange this.
The College is committed to safeguarding and promotes the welfare of all learners and expects its staff to share this commitment. Employment at the College is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
