About the Role:
The tasks you carry out will be as varied as our clients are, some core responsibilities include:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Personal care (washing, dressing, daily routines)
- Help with medications
- Assistance with meals and light household tasks
- Shopping and meal preparation
We provide all the training you will need.
Working Hours:
Carers who are looking for between 10-30 hours per week tend to fit best in our experience.
- Some weekend availability is essential
- Additional weekday availability outside of school hours is highly desirable
Requirements:
- Must live within 7.5 miles of Reading
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (required)
- Right to work in the UK
- A clean DBS check (sourced and paid for by Gardiner’s)
