We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service standards are maintained
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations
- Develop new menu items and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the culinary offerings
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Demonstrable supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
- Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring staff and fostering teamwork
- Experience in food production, hospitality, and serving is highly desirable
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
