After School Club Leader - Term-Time Only (15 hrs)
Location: East Farleigh, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 0LY
Pay: £13.00–£13.50 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Term-time | to cover afterschool clubs 3:15pm - 5:30pm | The contracted hours include time for daily setup/pack-down, administration and meetings.
Looking for a rewarding part-time role working with children in a lovely primary school setting?
We are looking for a friendly and reliable After School Club Leader to run a small, welcoming after-school club at East Farleigh Primary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with primary-aged children in a relaxed, supportive environment, leading a small club with around 15 children on average, supported by a Playworker.
You’ll create a fun and engaging space where children can unwind after the school day through games, creative activities and free play.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading a small after-school club in a primary school setting
- Creating a safe, happy and inclusive environment for children
- Supervising snack time and free play
- Supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing
- Liaising with parents and school staff
- Completing basic safeguarding and admin tasks
You’ll be working in a friendly school environment with a small group of children, allowing you to build strong relationships and create a positive club atmosphere.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with primary-aged children (school, childcare or clubs)
- A confident and organised approach
- Ability to lead a small team and supervise activities
- Good communication skills with parents and school staff
- Level 2 childcare/playwork qualification is desirable
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
