Pay: £450 per week (inclusive umbrella rate)
Increased pay to £500 per week (inclusive umbrella rate) after successful probation
Hours: 8:20am – 3:30pm

We Educate Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and motivated Teaching Assistants to support a variety of mainstream primary and secondary schools across Basildon and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, adaptable and genuinely passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally.
No classroom experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop within school environments.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students within the classroom on both a general and 1-1 basis. Roles can vary depending on the school, year group and student needs, meaning no two days are ever the same.
You may support pupils with:
- Autism (ASD)
- ADHD
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
- Speech and Language Needs
- Behavioural Challenges
- Mild Learning Difficulties
- Additional SEND requirements depending on the setting
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students throughout the school day
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCO staff
- Providing 1-1 and small group support
- Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour
- Helping students build confidence within the classroom
- Being flexible across different classes and school settings
