Electrical Assembler
Paying: Up to £13.97
Hours of work: 08:00-16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 - 12:00 Friday
Overtime available at an enhanced rate
The role is based in Wellingborough and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas.
The Role: Wiring Loom Assembler / Electrical assembler
- Assemble wiring looms and cable harnesses to technical drawings and specifications
- Cut, strip, crimp, solder and terminate cables to a high standard
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
- Conduct continuity testing and basic electrical testing to ensure functionality
- Identify and report any faults or non-conformances
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
Minimum Skills & Experience Required: Wiring Loom Assembler / Electrical assembler
- Experience in wiring loom or cable harness assembly
- Good understanding of electrical principles and components
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience using hand tools, crimping tools, and soldering equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
