The Bridge Renewal Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Programme Co-ordinator to lead the delivery of Community Cancer Advocacy project funded by Macmillan Cancer Support.
The project aims to improve cancer experiences and outcomes for Turkish, Somali, and Polish/Eastern European communities in Haringey by ensuring that people with lived experience help shape more culturally responsive cancer services.
As Programme Co-ordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the project, working closely with Community Cancer Champions, local community organisations, NHS partners, and residents affected by cancer. You will coordinate community story circles, workshops, steering group meetings, and partnership activities, while ensuring effective project management, monitoring, and reporting.
We are looking for someone with experience of coordinating community or health-related projects, building partnerships, and engaging diverse communities. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, an understanding of health inequalities, and a commitment to co-production and inclusion. Experience of working within health settings or supporting people affected by cancer is desirable but not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive organisation where we value and reward the performance of our staff.
