We are currently seeking a confident, driven and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our brilliant team at Blackstock Market and Blackstock Roof Garden. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in one of Liverpool’s biggest and busiest venues, delivering top-tier guest experiences during live comedy and music events five days a week.
You will be responsible for overseeing both bar and floor operations, leading and motivating the team, and ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained at all times. The role requires a hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day bar and floor operations
- Leading, training and supporting the food and beverage team
- Ensuring outstanding customer service and guest experience
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Supporting event service during live comedy and music shows
- Adapting between operational and managerial duties as required
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have over three years’ experience in bar and hospitality roles
- Have substantial floor and food handling experience
- Be cocktail trained
- Be barista trained (training can be provided)
- Have previous supervisory or management experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Pay close attention to detail
- Work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Be a strong team leader with a positive attitude
