We are seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Roseville Care Centre, Blair Avenue, Ingleby Barwick. Based in our local community, this role is vital in delivering compassionate care that aligns with our core values of respect, dignity, and quality. As a Care Assistant, you will play a key part in enhancing the well-being of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support to residents in our care home.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident's needs.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
- Support residents' independence while respecting their dignity.
- Document care activities accurately and promptly.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or interest in social or healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of care plans and home care procedures is advantageous.
