Join a Growing Manufacturer of High-End Bespoke Furniture
We are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in bench joinery, cabinetry, bespoke furniture manufacturing, shopfitting, or commercial interiors who takes pride in producing exceptional work.
You will be manufacturing high-quality, custom-made furniture and joinery for prestigious hospitality, leisure, retail, workplace, and commercial projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke furniture and joinery items including:
- Reception desks
- Banquette seating
- Bars and backfitting
- Wall panelling
- Cabinetry and storage solutions
- Retail and commercial fixtures
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD plans, and production specifications.
- Use a range of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools to produce high-quality components.
- Assemble, fit, and finish furniture to the highest standards.
- Work with laminates, veneers, solid timber, MDF, solid surfaces, and decorative panel products.
- Carry out laminating, edging, countertop fabrication, and detailed finishing work.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Work collaboratively with production managers and colleagues to achieve project deadlines.
- Follow all workshop health and safety procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker, Joiner, Shopfitter, or Wood Machinist
✔ Strong background in bespoke furniture manufacturing or cabinetry
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
✔ Experience using woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools
✔ Knowledge of laminating, veneering, solid surface fabrication, and countertop production
✔ Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Commercial furniture manufacturing
- Hospitality fit-out projects
- CNC-assisted manufacturing processes
- Corian or solid surface fabrication
- Veneering and specialist finishing techniques
