Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Flooring Contractor to join our team, specialising in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various flooring surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital part in transforming spaces through expert flooring solutions, contributing to both residential and commercial developments.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of flooring materials including carpets safety flooring, vinyl, Marmoleum and tiles.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments.
- Perform tasks related to flooring installation, such as cutting and fitting materials precisely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or flooring installation is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used flooring work.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently
Pay: £12.21-£18.00 per hour
