Do you have a passion for gardening! Do you have a passion for gardening! We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Maintenance Operative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance.
Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilising to keep turf healthy and attractive
- Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and pruning shears for landscape upkeep
- Maintain shrubbery, trees, and flower beds through pruning, trimming, planting, and weeding
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to pests or disease and take appropriate action
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years garden maintenance experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care or gardening
- Ability to operate various landscaping equipment and hand tools safely
- Strong understanding of landscaping techniques including tree care, trimming, mowing.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- A full clean UK Driving Licence (manual preferred)
- Level 2 in Horticulture (desirable)
- PA1/PA6 Qualifications (desirable)
