£26,437 per annum plus benefits and gratuities, OTE approx 30K per annum, full time role

Storrs Hall is a spectacular Grade II listed Georgian Mansion Hotel, with a beautiful location and stunning grounds, on the shores of Lake Windermere. With a focus on a warm family ethos and exemplary service, we have a busy reception and a superb working environment. Hours are shift based (no splits) and a mix of early, mid and late shifts. No nights.

Main Responsibilities as Receptionist
- Managing a busy switchboard
- Providing the first point of contact for customers, meeting and greeting
- Checking in and out, handling all guest requests
- Showing Guests round the hotel and to their rooms
- Handling all reservations
- Supporting the Events team with weddings, proposals and functions
- Taking payments
- Handling general administrative tasks
- Working closely with the food & beverage team
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong customer service experience - front of house / Reception experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Great communication skills
- Highly organised and IT literate
- Good administrative skills
- Well presented, personable and courteous
