Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for visitors, tenants and staff. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality service, and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
Working hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5pm to 8pm; Tuesdays and Thursday 5pm - 9pm (5 days per week, total 17 hours per week)
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established health and safety protocols while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to site management requests in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with site staff.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with clients.
- A proactive attitude towards work with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS is required, expense to be met by employer.
