Redjacket Specialist Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Services Supervisor to join our Wiltshire Division. The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner. A key aspect of this role is fostering a strong safeguarding culture within the team to protect the welfare of all clients. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the care team, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies

Key responsibilities:
- Supervision of Care Staff: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care delivery
- Care Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with care staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review individual care plans, ensuring they reflect the needs and preferences of client
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services, conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Safeguarding Practices: Promote and maintain a strong safeguarding culture within the team, ensuring all staff are aware of and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. Actively participate in safeguarding training and ensure that any concerns are reported and addressed promptly
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the care team and facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Client Engagement: Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care services, incidents, and changes in client conditions, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Care Services Manager to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery and client satisfaction
- Health and Safety: Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring proper use of equipment
What we are looking for:
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care desirable (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a care setting
- Strong understanding of care standards, best practices, with a focus on safeguarding
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate staff
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and staff
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- A full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential
