A lovely School in Penzance, is looking for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team. There is a great community and ethos around the school and they are looking for an energetic and skilled practitioner.
The role is typically working with children in the EYFS setting, hence experience is very much required. The school offer the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor learning, with a mix of ages and a spacious early years environment encouraging a variety of learning opportunities. Their aim is to nurture, motivate, inspire and challenge children in their learning, so that the school is a place where fascination, creativity and endless possibilities for learning is at the core of what they do.
This lovely school prides itself on valuing experienced and enthusiastic staff, who are dedicated in nurturing the best outcomes for the children and offer permanent placements. Working hours are 8:30 to 15:30 and the role is from January to Easter, however, permanent placements will be offered to the right candidate.
The ideal Nursery TA should:
- Have a CACHE Level 3 in Early Years and Foundation Studies
- Have experience working with/supporting nursery age children (0-5)
- Have experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Be flexible, proactive and patient
- Be nurturing and caring in your approaches
- Be able to communicate effectively within, and even lead a team
