Overview
Sentient Care is seeking dedicated Care Workers in Bolton and Bury to deliver person-centred support to clients in their own homes. You'll be visiting people across both areas, providing the kind of compassionate, attentive care that helps them live well, safely, and independently. The ideal candidate will bring a genuine desire to improve quality of life through respectful, reliable support. A good standard of spoken English and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle are essential, as you'll be communicating directly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals while travelling between visits across both towns.
Duties
- Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and ensure accurate documentation
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support with transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or activities
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote well-being and social interaction
Requirements
