Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals using the service
- Assist with promoting positive behaviour management for individuals with complex needs
- Support individuals with daily activities, personal care, and accessing the community
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare or social care sector
- Knowledge of best practices in residential care settings
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards those in need of care and support
