We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll or finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing payroll accurately and efficiently, including:
- P60s, P45s and P11Ds
- Starters and leavers
- Overtime and salary advances
- Managing the Vitality scheme, including:
- Registering and removing employees
- Entering figures into payroll
- Reconciling monthly statements
- Administering the company pension scheme, including:
- Employee registrations and removals
- Updating payroll contributions
- Supporting the administration of the Holiday Exchange Scheme
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
- Assisting with payroll queries from employees and management
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous payroll or finance administration experience
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Have excellent numerical and administrative skills
- Be confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office
- Be able to manage confidential information professionally
- Work well independently and as part of a team
