Role Overview:
As a Domiciliary Care Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care by providing safe and reliable transportation to and from their homes. You will be responsible for driving care staff to client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport care staff safely to and from client homes in a timely manner.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good condition and report any issues promptly.
- Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with care staff and clients, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanour.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of all passengers.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, maintenance, and travel schedules.
- Provide support to care staff with light duties as required, including carrying shopping or other essentials.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient, with a strong commitment to client care.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
