Self-Employed Chef Wanted – Falmouth City Centre
We’re looking for a reliable, self-employed chef to join us working from a horse box in Falmouth city centre.
Serving an American-style menu including burgers, nachos and street food favourites.
Role includes:
Simple food prep and cooking to a high standard
Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
Working in a fast-paced environment
Confident lone working or working alongside the owner
Keeping the kitchen area clean, organised, and efficient
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Extensive culinary experience with a broad skill set in food preparation and presentation
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously as a self-employed professional
- Previous experience in restaurant service or catering is highly desirable
- Good understanding of hospitality standards and customer service excellence
