Health & Leisure – Leisure Team Apprenticeship - Level 2
We’re looking for Leisure Team Apprentices to join us. Working in one of our 9 swimming pool facilities you’ll be part of a team and experience a range of work activities and achieve qualifications in lifeguarding (NPLQ), swimming teaching (Swim England) & gym instruction (L2 Qualification).
The Leisure Team Apprenticeship will give you experience in the leisure industry. It’s an ideal entry level position for someone wanting a career within health, fitness & leisure; whether that’s a first, second, third or more career!
To be successful you’ll need to demonstrate good people skills and be happy to work in a variety of situations & teams. In leisure we work when many don’t so there’ll be shift work including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You’ll also need to have a relatively good swimming ability & will complete a swimming test as part of the application process.
Apprenticeships @ Everybody
We recruited our first apprentices in 2015 and since then have employed 63 people in a diverse range of roles. Some have since started their progression into management roles or are delivering Personal Trainer programmes for customers.
We work closely with our training providers to deliver high-quality apprenticeships that cover personal development and soft skills as well as the core educational elements of the apprenticeship.
Developing our people to be the best is one of our four strategic aims and is at the core of our business. We’re very proud of the quality of our apprenticeship scheme & the opportunities that it provides. Everybody received the Training and Development Award at the 2024 East Cheshire Business Awards. Pay & Benefits

18-month (approx.) apprenticeship programme
- 37 hours per week including early mornings, evenings & weekends (operational roles)
- Starting salary of £16,457.30 (current rates) per year for full time, with 6 monthly performance-based pay rise
- 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5-years’ service)
