Salary: between £28,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role
As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of power equipment and machinery, including generators, pressure washers, garden machinery, and power tools. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest safety and performance standards, working closely with our technical team and aftersales department. The successful candidate will ideally have 2+ years’ experience within a mechanical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault diagnosis and repairs on a wide range of power equipment & machinery.
- Handle warranty repairs ensuring compliance with manufacturer terms and conditions.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and fix faults.
- Accurately update job cards and repair records using a tablet.
- Report quality issues or recurring defects to the Workshop Manager.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical skills (essential) – experience working with engines, small machinery or power equipment.
- Electrical skills (highly desirable) – knowledge of fault-finding and repairs on electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently.
- Works safely.
- Basic IT skills to update job cards and reports.
