Kings Oak Academy and Highgate are two infant schools in Kings Lynn. Both schools are led by the same headteacher and have similar practices and policies. Both schools serve diverse communities and have proactive staff that are committed to the education of the whole child. Both schools have warm and friendly atmospheres, with purposeful learning environments. We aim to provide happy and supportive surroundings for the children in our care and have in place a wide range of learning experiences to help and ensure the full growth and development of the child - physically, intellectually, socially and morally. Our new and experienced leadership team are committed to providing an exceptional and enriching education for all our young people.
This post is a flexible post and will involve working across both schools. The post will initially be 2.5 days at each school and will involve working in partnership with part time teachers in both schools (this is not PPA cover). The number of days at each school may well change in response to changes of staff, changes to the school’s contexts and the ever-changing cohorts of children.

Has a good understanding of the unique needs of young children in EYFS and Key Stage One
