We are now looking for a Van Driver to join our Bedford branch.
About the Role
We seek to appoint a full-time Van Driver who will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient delivery service to customers, providing excellent customer service and to carry out any other reasonable duties to support the running of the branch.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Safely transport goods to and from customer locations in line with company delivery schedules.
- Ensure all goods are loaded and secured safely to prevent damage during transit.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
- Support the warehouse team with day-to-day duties as required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- We value reliability, teamwork and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
About You:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Valid driving licence
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Punctual and reliable
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience is preferrable.
- Forklift Truck experience is preferrable.
